What does “registrants only” mean regarding cocktails, dinner and dancing?
Our evening at the New Haven Country Club will feature a seated dinner and you must have registered for the weekend in advance in order to attend. You will check-in upon arrival at this event. Other parts of the weekend will be open to everyone (such as our worship services and Sunday lunch) and will not require registration. Registration is inclusive of dinner and soft drinks only on Saturday evening, and there will be a cash bar.

What if I can only attend a part of the weekend?
We would love to see you! Please still register and consider paying the full amount as a donation. Otherwise, there is an option to pay what you can. After registration, and closer to the weekend, you will be able to RSVP for specific portions of the weekend to help with our head counts.

Is there a dress code?
Suggested attire for Saturday night is festive! (Think cocktail attire.) New Haven Country Club does request a dress code that includes: no athletic attire, no jeans, no hats, and for men specifically, shirts with a collar are required and open-toed shoes/sandals are not permitted.

Outside of Saturday night, there is no dress code.

Is there childcare Saturday evening?
Children are invited to attend the celebration weekend and the evening of dinner and dancing at the New Haven Country Club. Nursery is provided during the Celebration Service on Saturday afternoon and during Sunday morning Worship.

What kind of activities can we expect on Saturday?
The plans for Saturday’s daytime activities are still coming together, but you can expect many fun activities and meetups that will be coordinated by CPC’s current Life Groups or ad hoc teams. For instance, there might be a trail run through East Rock, or picnics in the park, or hangs at a brewery or vineyard. The final list of planned activities will be communicated via email after registration closes. Please note that some activities might have costs associated with them that are not included in the registration fee.

What if my plans change and I need to cancel?
If your plans change, please contact annie.mchugh@cpcnewhaven.org to cancel your registration. After May 15th, we cannot guarantee a refund, and what you’ve paid will be considered a donation to CPC.

Who else is coming?
After May 15th we’ll share a guest list via email with those who have RSVP’d yes to the weekend.

Who’s planning this event?
The planning committee is chaired by Meg Bogue and its members include Jennifer Cheng, Elisa Billings, Anna Graham, Lisa Tweed, Jhon Nagasako, Colleen Rice, Alex Gonzalez, and Annie McHugh.
